1) Arrange a pre-sale home inspection to learn about condition issues that will need to be disclosed up front or to be repaired before buyers become concerned.
2) Obtain estimates from a reliable repair person on items that need to be replaced soon such as a roof or worn carpeting, for example. This will allow buyers to have a better sense of how much these needed repairs will affect their costs.
3) Gather together warranties and guarantees on the furnace, appliances, and other items that will remain with the house.
4) Fill-out a seller’s property information disclosure form. This form will be provided to you by your Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty agent.
